Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Students, Faculty, and Staff, 

It is with immense joy and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to DeMatha English Medium School. 

Established in 1192, our school is named after St. John de Matha, who was a priest and founder of the Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Captives. As Trinitarians, the priests and brothers of the Order have served globally through ministries in parishes, missions, and social justice initiatives. Rooted in this rich tradition, DeMatha School strives to cultivate students intellectually and instill moral values in their personal growth to become well-rounded individuals and productive members in the communities. 

Our motto, “Educate to Liberate,” reflects the commitment to the holistic development of every student. Education is the pathway to freedom—freedom from ignorance, fear, and limitation. A liberated individual is empowered to serve others through acts of love, justice, and compassion. 

At DeMatha, we believe that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but also how we use it to transform lives. I look forward to working closely with each of you—parents, students, and staff—as we collectively embark on this journey of discovery, growth, and transformation.
